KabarFAB – On Monday, April 13, the English Literature Student Association successfully organized an academic seminar entitled “Mainstream Workshop: Choose Your Passion, Find Your Path” at Aula Yosodipuro FAB, 4th floor. This event was specifically designed to assist students in understanding and selecting their academic specialization within the English Literature program. The seminar served as an essential platform for students who are preparing to determine their academic direction based on their interests, strengths, and future career aspirations.

He provided a comprehensive explanation of the scientific study of language, including its structure, meaning, and use in different contexts. His session emphasized how linguistics enables students to understand language patterns, communication systems, and sociolinguistic aspects that are highly relevant in today’s globalized world. He also discussed various career opportunities in linguistics, such as academia, language research, and communication-related industries.
The final session was dedicated to translation studies, presented by Sf. Throughout the seminar, participants actively engaged in discussions and question-and-answer sessions. Students were given the opportunity to ask questions directly to the speakers, allowing them to gain deeper insights into each specialization. This interactive approach created a dynamic learning environment where students could openly express their thoughts and concerns regarding their academic choices.
In addition to the formal presentations, the event also encouraged students to reflect on their personal interests and abilities. The speakers consistently emphasized that choosing a specialization should not only be based on trends or external influence, but also on self-awareness and long-term goals. This message resonated strongly with the participants, motivating them to carefully consider their decisions.
The “Mainstream Workshop: Choose Your Passion, Find Your Path” proved to be a highly beneficial and impactful event. It provided students with valuable knowledge, practical insights, and inspiration to take the next step in their academic journey. By the end of the seminar, many participants expressed a clearer understanding of each specialization and felt more confident in determining their chosen path.
Overall, this seminar successfully fulfilled its purpose of guiding English Literature students toward making informed and thoughtful decisions about their academic future. It also reinforced the role of the student association in supporting students’ academic development and preparing them for future professional challenges.
