PREPOSITION: Pre-Proposal Presentation in English Literature

KabarFAB – The English Literature Study UIN Raden Mas Said Surakarta proudly presents PREPOSITION (Pre-Proposal Presentation), an academic event designed as a platform for students to present their research proposal drafts before entering the official proposal seminar stage. The event will be held on May 18th–20th, 2026, at P building, bringing together English Literature students, lecturers, and invited participants in an engaging and collaborative academic environment.

PREPOSITION aims to help students develop stronger and more well structured research proposals through presentation sessions, discussions, and constructive academic feedback. Throughout the event, students will present their research ideas and receive valuable suggestions from lecturers and fellow participants to improve the quality of their studies before proceeding to the next academic stage. The activity also provides students with the opportunity to experience a seminar like atmosphere, allowing them to become more confident and prepared for future academic presentations.

More than just a presentation forum, PREPOSITION encourages students to strengthen their critical thinking, academic communication, and public speaking skills. The event creates a supportive atmosphere where participants can exchange perspectives, broaden their academic insights, and gain confidence in delivering their ideas in front of an audience. In addition, the discussions held during the presentations are expected to inspire students to explore various issues and topics in the field of language, literature, and culture from broader perspectives.

Through this activity, the English Literature Study Program hopes to foster a productive and inspiring academic culture among students. PREPOSITION is also expected to become a meaningful learning space that promotes collaboration, creativity, and intellectual growth, while motivating students to produce innovative and high-quality research in the future. The event reflects the commitment of the English Literature Study Program to continuously support students in their academic journey and professional development.
